USA Key and remote combo?

New to the forum, just bought a 2003 Tacoma ext-cab Prerunner 2wd. I have been a Van person for 40 years and this is my first truck. Loving it so far, needed something to carry the dirt bikes out to the desert and into the mountains. Planning on putting some Toyo tires on it as I need to replace the misc. tires that are on it now. I will have some questions for it and the first one is can I combine the ignition key and the remote using one of the EBay listed key combos? Like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AI T&viewitem=&item=370063715872

I HATE big key chains and with the flash drive that I already have to carry, and the house key and etc... It is more than I like loading my pocket. Some of these combo keys show them disassembled so I know that they can be programmed and maybe the guts from the Remote that came with my Toy will fit into the Key combo.

Thanks for any help.
