I need assurance & some guidance!

Hey guys...I am a girlfriend to a very enthusiastic Tacoma lover who has a birthday coming up soon. He's been talking about wanting a brush guard for a couple of years but I know he would never buy one for himself, so I am trying to find the right one for him without breaking the bank! I thnk I've found the one I want to get but just want to make sure that A.) it is from a reputable site, which is www.thepartsbin and B.) it's a decent brush guard?! I know nothing about them or what looks 'cool'. I do know that he wants flat/matte black, and he didn't want the bull guard. So heres a link to the page, and its the 2nd one down..the bullet brand. I know Westin is a good company but never heard of bullet. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance

edit:
i also found the Hunter brand. they look the exact same to me, except the Hunter is a bit cheaper.

please any opinions!

Wow, nice GF you are! Anyhoo, get the one from Hunter, I've heard pretty good things about them.

Marry me?

And yeah, I second Hunter. In the photos they look dead on identical to a Waag or Westin. The "stylish" look. Lol

warn makes a more heavy duty one than that, i'd get a warn before the hunter. (i'm to lazy to search and add a link, but my dad has one on his 98)
by the way, can you hang out with my old lady for a while, maybe something will rub off.....

well thanks for the suggestions fellas! I was a little nervous about the purchase cause I wasn't sure if it was the right thing to get for a bday present but sounds like he will like it! I dont think he will need a more heavy duty one btw..I think he wants it more for looks. Altho he does use his truck as a work truck, he doesn't do anything with it that would require a grille guard, imo!

Toys for his (or any guy for that matter) truck is a great gift! Power tools also a great gift idea.

Any guy not liking any of these for a gift is not much of a guy as far as I am concerned.

Wish him a Happy Birthday from all of us!

thanks for all the replies! im glad to know he will love the gift.

have a new issue come up though..his mom decided she wanted to throw in some $$ for it too so it could be from both of us, so she was going to use her credit card to pay for it, and Id just give her my half in cash. Well thepartsbin was out of stock, and they told her to check ebay motors. Without asking me, she went to ebay motors and ordered one from some private company called dealsofsteel!? I checked into them and they seem kind of shady, and I emailed them to ask what brand it was, and they said since they are a private company, it is their brand and the brush guard doesn't come with any logo on it. UGH! Now Im scared she ordered a complete piece of junk

Well if it is a piece of junk and the company won't take it back call the credit card company and dispute the charge. This has worked in my favor a couple of times with unresolved issues from bad vendors. The CC companies are pretty good at keeping you happy. After all you are their customer, not the vendors.

It will work out.
