2003 Tacoma cab height

I found a 2003 Tacoma TRD with 11,000 Km’s that I am really interested in. But, when I sat in it, my head was just scrapping the top of the cab. I’m 6’1”, which seems pretty average nowadays. It was an extended cab with bucket seats, and a sun roof. Am I missing something? Is there an adjustment to lower the seat? In my ZR2 I have a few inches of clearance. The other difference I noticed was that the 3.4 engine noise in the Tacoma cab is considerably louder than the 4.3 in my ZR2 cab. This is probably normal, but I was just wondering if others had noticed this.

Best that I can suggest for you is to measure the door opening of a tacoma and then the seat level and do the same on your chevy these can both be done with a tape measure.. Hope this helps.

I'm 6' and have no problems with seat height in my '99 PreRunner. I'm pretty sure both of our interiors should be the same. You should have someone take a pic of you in the cab while you're in there so we can see what's going on.
