That green Corolla that had been wrecked just has WAY to much frame damage, but the engine and transmission are still solid. Obviously a same year Corolla or Prizm would work, but other than that?

it will work in a 93-95.5 (OBD1) corolla honestly those engines are weak and no one does much with them the "GZE" thing mentioned is a 4A-GZE or 4A-GE the bottom ends are different between 4A-FE and 4A-GE/4A-GZE
i would think you could make a few bucks selling it on the local craigslist or kijiji especially if you can show it running first

Well it's not worth it if it's not easy. Do you know of any other vehicles it will fit into with little to no modification to mounts and wiring harnesses?

Ask the questions in the right forum and you'll probably get the right answers... Corolla question, Corolla forum.
This will fit on any Corolla from 1988-1997 with no mount modifications as they're all powered by A-series motors (4age, 4af, 4afe, etc), the problem as 94_rolla_guy stated will be wiring and ECU interchangeability.
