Was I supposed to tip the courtesy driver?

Today while getting my HL serived. I used the courtesy shuttle service to take me a couple miles down the road to a shopping mall. He then picked me up an hour later.

Was I supposed to tip him? I didn't even think about it until I got back in my car.

you never HAVE to tip someone for a service, but it's a nice gesture.

I haven't tipped as I thought it was part of the service cost when I bring in my vehicle. Again, as falnfenix said, if the driver did something out of his way to make you satisfied, then by all means tip the driver and let him/her know that his/her efforts were appreciated.

if they deserve it and put forth an effort to make me happy then yes. however if they dont get me refills and im dry for a few minutes, they get less. if i have to ask them for extra napkins, they get less. if they make me wait for or ask for the check, they get less. those are all things that all servers should keep an eye on no matter what, thats there job. if they cant do these simple things then why do they deserve extra money from my pocket that just encourages them to do it to the next customer or to me the next time?
