I've got 2 storage sheds full of my collectibles, HWs and action figures when I still collected them . Man, I wouldn't know where to get rid of them. Although, when I do buy doubles and triples by accident, I donate them every Xmas at a toy drive that we have here at work every year.
ebay? You can take them to F&S too. If you happen to have any Datsun Zs, I'd be interested in them.
It would take me too much time to try and list them on ebay and I work a night shift and also Saturdays so F&S would be out of the question. I don't think I've come across any Zs. Which Zs in particular were you looking for?
I don't think I've ever come across those ever anywhere. You know, there's one place you should check and that's at the Dollar Tree stores. They get cases every now and again. A few months back I picked up the HW Bat at the Rosemead one off the 10 Fwy.

Haha...I too found two of those Bats (ugly btw) at DT, though I found mine when I was in San Diego...haven't really bothered with the ones here in the SGV. Right now, the dollar stores are dry of cars. Big Lots is the place with cars currently, and I even found a Super last weekend. Usually, the most convenient places I go to besides the ones in Alhambra you named are the Ralphs.
I hate that Mattel has started the super THs now, I've never found one, only the regular ones. The only THs I collect now are the ones I find on the pegs and Corvettes. Another good place to hit are the 99 cent Only stores. They have bins full of HWs, although I've never found any THs or other rare ones. At this time of the year, Target, and I guess WallyWorld, are the places to snatch some decent HWs.
edit: Have you got an extra Bat to spare? Ever since I showed my kid mine, he wants one now!

Yeah, 99 Cents is another place, but the last time I went, it was dry like DT. To me, it's too hard keep up with all these places. Some guys make it more of a routine to stop by, day and night. In our area, I've heard of guys sweeping through and buying them to resell. If I did that, I probably would have all the cars that I want, maybe even more THs, but I'm not into that. I've found hunting outside LA more enjoyable..,IE and SD were better for me.
As for the Bat, sorry I only have one left, as I gave the other to a friend. But you know if I see anymore, I'll grab all that I can. I'd be happy to trade it for either a Mars Rover or Mystery Machine .
Picked up a black & white AE-86 a couple days ago @ the Monrovia WM. Corners were bent to hell, but snagged it anyway.

You mean Duarte lol...yeapp, they're out there. AE86s are very popular in our neck of the woods, as is any import casting. Bro, Walgreens will be having their annual Hot Wheels sale next week (I don't know how much they'll be priced this year yet, likely 69 cents, as they've gone up 10 cents a year it seems). I believe you need to use the coupon in their circular, but I think they'll have them in store. I'm thinking the cases they'll have are the B and C Case, so most likely more 86s, Skylines and white Zs. If we're lucky, they might have the A case, which was the one with all the Celicas. Will be making nightly runs
I've seen a few of the white Zs with the flowery looking tampos on the fenders. I've got about 4 spare green Celicas. Might open 1 to display and others for trade maybe. I def want to pickup another Skyline and an 86 though! Hmmm, Walgreens, huh? Might have to stop there after the gym next week.
According to HWC, Walgreens has gotten cars already, so hopefully they'll have enough for the sale (heard the price was 39 cents??)...we'll see, I think I'll be hording cars now for that price.
Another thing you can do is if you can always go to Walmart (and even Target & TRU now) and have them pricematch should you find cars there you want to buy. Best to bring the WG ad with you (in the Sunday paper or in store)
For sure, thanks for the tip. I think I need to check out Big Lots stores too. The last time I went there for HWs, I scored a boatload of Batman TV series Batmobiles.

These?
Big Lots was good to me one time as well, when I got a bunch of the Ghostbusters Ecto 1.
