Wonder what the power figures are going to be. I always felt that the IS350 could use a little bit more power, and a MANUAL transmission.
engines will be carry-over, both will have 8-speed. no hybrid for US. 2.5 v6 manual is dropped. 2L turbo will arrived in '14 (possibly with manual option?)

Your kidding right 305 hp is Pretty impressive in my opinion of coarse you can buy the f model with its
Massive v8 . I like the power ratio on my moms 3.5 v6 that had slightly more from the same Avalon v6.
My guess is "Yes" Lexus has added the F sport model on a lot of new applications lately even the Rx has a sport oriented model. If we see another v8 engine it's going to be interesting but I hope so for Lexus sake. I really have enjoyed my mom's new 2012 Is 350 with it's 306 hp and add another 8 speed it's a fun overall package to drive.

The Es and Toyota's new Avalon 2013 Share the same underpinnings which is nothing new . Lexus has made serious improvements on the model line for 2012 and 13 model which incorporates the new spindled grill. The 2014 Is model look's more like a refresh in term's on interior design vs exterior. The overall exterior design down to the mirror's and side profile very much look's like a Is to todays standards. The front end is where the rework was made and applied to grill and headlights. Rear look's very much Es/Is (2013).
The 8 speed is something that took the Is to another level when Lexus applied the 8 speed on the flagship Ls for 2007.
The current IS350 like the white one above looks handsome!
Looks the same except the back. Too completely different designs front and back. Must be two different design teams. Looks like an Altima with an L badge I'm not surprised with the spindle grill cause Lexus stated that's the new design language but I think they could have done better...oh well. The powertrains, handling and competitiveness will be more important. NOt like the new 3 series sets the world on fire as far as deign.

I also like the fact that the grille flows well with the front end lines. Certainly a lot better looking than the RX and LS where it was just tacked on as an afterthought to keep the corporate identity.
That isn't it. The front end is terrible photoshop and the rest of the car doesn't even come close to the spy-shots we've seen. Next.
