Just got a 94 pickup 3.0 4x4 last week an you have to push clutch pedal all the way to the floor to shift I tried changing master an slave cylinder an that did not help just trying to find out if this is a common issue or if it's not a problem at all? because my 86 an 96 where not like that
But did you replace the hose too?
It could be weak and expanding like a balloon when you press on the pedal.
Get under and watch the hose/slave/fork while someone else works the pedal.
While we are on a clutch subject, I have a question. I recently replaced my engine, while doing I stuck a new clutch in. Everything works fine but I've noticed a slight vibration when I depress the clutch about a 1/4 to 1/2 way down. Anyone have any idea what that is?
When you say, you have the clutch pedal adjustment "Maxed Out", you're scaring me.
The clutch pedal adjustment on the Master Cylinder is supposed to be adjusted to provide a slight amount of "toe play". Basically you should adjust it to take up as much of the free play in the rod as you can but still allow some play. I think Toyota specifies 10mm play at the pedal.
If this is adjusted up to tight it will prevent proper bleeding/clutch operation.
Hope this helps.
Victor
