Tire Help

Does anyone know the largest off road style tire you can fit on stock 15" six bolt pattern rims?

You need to give us a few more parameters.
You can fit a 40"x14.5"x15" tire on a 15" rim, or a 28"x6.0"x15" tire.
There's other factors we need to know to help you better.
Like is the suspension stock or lifted? if so how much?
What's the width of the rim?
The offset and backspacing?

Stock suspension. 4wd.

I'm unsure of the width of the rims, however they're stock 4runner rims from '93.

I'm looking for a beefier tire that won't slow down my 22re motor too much. Currently running 225/75 R15.

You may have better luck discussing it with the Pickup folks as you don't have T100. Otherwise I'd say 31x10.5R15s would probably be the biggest you'd want to deal with if you aren't going to re-gear. Again, I'd check the Pickup section...they probably have a lot more information than us.

Ok, you can run up to a 33" tire with minimal loss of power and mpg.
With a stock suspension a 31" tire is about as big as you can fit.
