Recommended asking price for my pickup

I have an '89 pickup that has served me well and long but it's time for it to go. Would much appreciate guidance on what is reasonable to ask.
- 4 cyl,
- 4WD with 5 fwd gears
- Extended cab
- dent in in passenger door, and wheel wells, bent rear bumper, otherwise straight.
- about $200k miles on a rebuilt engine. About 300k miles on the rig itself.
- head gasket is blown.
- Some rust around bolts in the bed
- Front windshield cracked
- Turquoise blue.
Thanks for any guidance.

You also have to take the overall appearance into account. Quality of paint, interior, rust, exhaust, tire tread, etc. And here in California, you have to be currently registered and pass smog; otherwise you're just for parts.

In my area, a good solid 2wd truck will bring $2k. Add $1k for 4wd, and subtract $1k for the head gasket. I can see your truck going for $2k. Maybe as high as $2.5k if the paint, rubber and interior are nice.

Wekadog, thanks so much for that quick reply.
In answer to your questions:
- I have big, all-terrain winter tires on it with plenty of tread, but they are studded (mostly worn off studs), plus some summer tires, somewhat worn down.
- It's been a firewood truck: so carpet and upholstery are worn and dirty.
- Interior door panels and dash vinyl are not torn.
- Driver's seat cushion seam is torn in one spot on the side.
- The paint job is still good overall, but some chips or mars here and there; no rust as far as I can tell.
- Needs a new rubber gasket door liner on the passenger door.
- No emission checks required in my region of Oregon.
- Exhaust system is good, no rust.
- Fairly new radiator.
- New clutch 1.5 years ago.

WHERE you are also makes a big difference.
And what about frame rust ? These trucks are rust magnets.
