22RE 1994 vacuum line diagram

I have done some major engine work on my truck and i have it like 90 percent back together however I have ran into a major dilemma. I have a ground wire coming off my main wire harness that runs around close to the intake plenum. It looks like it consists of 3 "brown???" wires and I found the bracket i think it is attaches to but don't know what the bracket attaches to or the hose that the bracket is on attaches to. I believe it is some type of fuel vacuum line and it has some heat shielding rubber/foam on it so it might wrap around the plenum or intake something that gets hot anyway. For some reason i can't get any of the links to these vacuum diagrams that i see posted on this site from time to time. can anybody help me on this issue? i hope i explained it well enough.

Sounds like this is the wire you're talking about. It's actually a very common question and one I had myself too.

It's a ground wire. It either goes on one of the bottom bolts where the plenum bolts to the intake or I think I put mine on the bolt right above where the charcoal canister bolts to the intake manifold.

And here's the vacuum diagram that's under my hood. Mine's a '95 truck with the 22re.

It's kind of hard to follow but everything you need is there.

Any Public Library in your area would have the Factory service manual,Haynes,Chiltons,Mitchells,Clymers,Bentley and Toyota repair books.

Speak to Beverly or Deloris

http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/FSM.shtml

1)buy a used one off e-bay
2)some Toyota dealerships may give you one or sell it for $10-20 (used) as most Toyota dealerships don't repair many old Toyotas and no longer need the service manual
3)some public libraries sell their old books as they are not in demand any longer
4)some free buy & sell classified papers, websites and bulletin boards may have some used ones for sale
5)some junk yards may have one laying around
6)some Toyota specialty garages may have one laying around and no longer use it as the vehicle may be too old and those mechanics probably have so much experience that they could publish their own factory service manual with corrections and "real world repair tips"
7)if someone has the FSM maybe they could scan all of the pages and post it on a site for all of us to download or view.

thanx for good pic of that ground wire

Yes I believe the wire you have circled in red is my mystery ground wire. On my truck it was bolted with a bracket to what looks like in your picture the hose that comes up from the fuel tank. Thats the one with heat shielding or something on it which looks like in your pic runs under the intake then connects to what? I have a few lines I havn't hooked up yet and i think i have 3 possibilities down under the intake to hook it to. maybe it hooks to the fuel regulator? Thank you so much for the help guys!!!! i love this site!!!!!
