Hey guys I hang out in the 05+ forum but thought I would post some crappy pics of my old '92. I'll try and find some old (better) pics of it later.

painted the door quickly, put it on and found out that it was a) the wrong colour, and b) had two felt racing stripes where I didn't let the clearcoat dry properly and laid it down on the felt blankets that were covering the saw horses.

Anyway, I'm going to have the rust fixed in the rear fender and clean it all up a bit...probably remove the decals and paint it all one colour that's something different. Apart from that, not a bad truck at all!

pete: got the rack , nerf bars, flares, etc at a local shop called Rack n' Road, it secures onto a normal Thule rack. I have thought about selling the shell+rack to help fund a new mountain bike but im not sure yet

It was only 150$ so I can't complain I guess..I bought it to learn stick, bodywork and engine work on to save my nice car. Took the interior out though and am currently attacking it with some good old soap and water. Suprisingly I've yet to encounter any rust so Im really thinking about fixing it up entirely. I'll make sure to post progess pictures as I work on it over the weekend/week. BTW does anyone have a spare 89-94 bezel trim piece? The big one that covers just about everything and the two center ac vents. I bought mine with it thoughtfully pre snapped in pieces Im also looking for other little bits and pieces but yotes of this age are rare in my area.

A work in progress and now that I am gainfully employed (Geologist at a consulting company) the progress will slowly begin! That is until I buy the 85' FJ60 I have in mind. Then the auto upgrade cash will be split between the two rigs.
