Difference between Hilux/Tacoma/T100

Hi,

What the size difference? Is T100 excab same size & width as Hilux / Tacoma excab. Pics of T100 seem to have 3 rear seats but Hilux/Tacoma only 2. What is total length of excab Hilux/Tacoma & excab T100?

In UK all toyota pick ups called Hilux and look same since early 90s until recent minor facelift this year. 4Runner called Hilux Surf. Your pick ups seem to be renamed Tacoma in late 90s and look slightly different.

in north america they have a different body line in the bed and the cab its a more "modern" look the interior has the oh shit handle on the window pillar and also the grill is different. the T100 the same i think as the III generation but i don't know. i remember when the tacoma came out in 1996 i was still in grade school i was even drool back then over toyota. i will snap some pictures today.

The T-100 was the Tundra before there was a Tundra. Same body, I think.

T-100 = Toyotas intial foray into making a larger truck....it's officially known as a "mid size" but carries *most* of the same running gear as a standard hilux type.

Taco (tacoma) is the '96 and up replacement (US only) for the older model Hilux pickups, AFAIK all Tacos are built in the US which is why you've never seen one over in jolly england.

Your Hilux = our Deluxe, or DLX

You should see the new Tundra, it is full size (same basic size as a Ford/Chevy/Dodge full size) and they are sweet.....but you guys don't see many full sized anythings over there...sorry.
I was born in Scotland so I am familiar with what you have....
