Radiator?

I feel dumb asking this, but I just don't know.
I let my truck (22re) run for about ten minutes. The temp never got anywhere near a quarter of the way (on the guage). I suspected that my t-stat was stuck open since I got the truck cause the needle never gets past a quarter of the way and takes a while to even get there.
I shut it down after the ten minutes and felt around. The radiator and upper hose were hot, but the lower hose was very cool. I've never checked like this before so I just don't know, but shouldn't the lower be hot too?
Do I possibly have a stuck closed t-stat? Because maybe the coolant isn't flowing through?
I still have the fan clutch on there, but I wouldn't think that could cool the truck that well if the t-stat is stuck closed.
Thanks!

I do feel very stupid asking this.
I was not driving, just idling in the garage. For about ten minutes. Which wasn't enough to get my needle on my temp gauge to reach even an 1/8th of the way.
I know the radiator cools the coolant as it passes through, but I wasn't going anywhere, so the only air that passed through the radiator was from my fan clutch. So I don't understand why my lower rad hose was so cool. So cool I don't think anything passed through it.

I'm not sure how the coolant flows. The temp guage needle was just before an 1/8th of the way, so just past the first line. The radiator and top hose was hot. Why were they hot if the t-stat never opened?

If your bottom rad hose is not warm, you have a circulation problem... Replace the t-stat with a toyota one, and flush the coolant system, replace with fresh 50/50 mix.
