I Need Answers. :]

Hello. My name's Sierra. im from Ohio. I've got a few questions about my truck. I'm currently redoing it from the ground up.

I'm doing a lot of body work, had to buy new doors and tailgate because being from ohio this kinda weather and the truck itself, it was pretty badly rusted.

she's gotta a lotta wear on her and 319k miles.
but she's my baby with a lotta potential.

im getting ready to have her painted in the spring. im looking for a few things. my plan is :

- lowered. (idk where i would go to find the shocks and springs and what not)
- window tint (had it before but with new doors i got new windows)
- roll pan (which i cant seem to find)
- rims (i cant decide on 18s or 20s)
- billet grille
- euro taillights

so far i think thats about it.
the bed still has a lot of bodywork to go, which im doing now, it just takes time because i do have class and homework and all the jazz to schedule it around.

but if you can let me know where i can find the shocks and springs, and give me the basics of doing it (because im doing it myself because my dad doesnt wanna see my "poor truck" lowered), and a rollpan, also what you think about the rims.

and any other things i can do to make her look sharp.
my best friend has an s10 extreme with air ride and all that fun stuff and he likes to dog on my baby alot so i needa give him a reason NOT to.
also i wanna get bucket seats and a console, but i dont know what would fit in there.

and subs, where could i get a box, or how would i build mine ..
so far i think i've gotten anything.

if you could get back to me, that would be wonderful.
thank you.

I just did my 4x4 over from the ground up too. The doors I used did not have tint and the ones I didn't use had tint. I simply swapped the glass from one door to the other. It's really not a big deal. Take the door panel off and remove two 10 mm bolts and take the glass out. Goe in the same way. Just be careful to get it in the track right and all that. I don't know anything about the lowering parts since that's not the route I took.

Good luck.

18inch rims? i think 17 would be alright with me. 18's are nice anyway.

but rims should come first then you could lower, find a god limit. i would recommend nice LED tails

depending n how low you want to make it go with drop spindles/ upper arms and loosen the torsion bars a little.
for window tint, find a local shop that does it. most will offer a warranty with there work.
grantkustoms.com should have a roll pan that will fit
i wouldnt go over 18'' rims unless you plan on baggin your truck or you want to go for that donk look.
ebay sometimes has billet grills so start on there
please no euro lights. they are dated and look like crap. look on ebay for the l.e.d. lights. they look 1000000x better and update the rear of the truck.
