odometer

Help, I have a 92 pickup with 22re engine,my speedometer works my odometer does not. What might the problem be?

Bad odometer motor. I believe 92 is electrically driven for both speedometer and odometer.

u know what i have kinda the same problem in the morning and it only does it when it cold the morning b4 and the odometer works but the speedo doesent it dosent bother me that much cuz it starts to work by the time i get on an actual road.

The speedometer needle can sometimes get stuck when park overnight or extended period of time. As long as it works, I guess you can just leave it alone.
