Brush Guard Brackets

So here's the deal, I got a brush guard for my truck about a year ago only problem was it didn't come with the bracket to connect the brush guard to the tow hook bolts (wish I had a picture but that would imply that I all ready had them...). I tried making some when I got it but they were off too much to adjust and then my college decided that metal shop wasn't important anymore they closed the shop and stopped that chance.

What I need is to find a pair of these brackets to get it on the truck (would like to have it on before the snow flies). Does anyone know where to buy some, or if anyone has a pair they'd be willing to part with. Any help would kick ass.

Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer of your brush guard.

I would contact the manufacturer, only I don't have a clue who makes this thing. I've seen it on a ton of our trucks I just haven't been able to find out who makes it. I don't have a camera and I've never managed to post pics on this site otherwise I would.

Quickywd01, thanks for the link but those aren't what I'm looking for. It's a pretty simple "L" piece of steel (not angle iron) and those look like they mount the brush guard to an Abrams Tank, haha.

I realize I'm not being very helpful myself but anyone else got any insight?

Try the classifieds Truck Parts section. I saw an add selling bush guard brackets.

to post images: use [IMG] format (photobucket can do it...)

anyway

i think yours is probably a westin brushguard...

i would try there because i've been researching them lately and that seems to be the one that mounts to the brackets...

i'll take it off your hands if you quote me a reasonable price though!

lol

then you won't have to worry about it at all!

So after a call to Westin I found that it's a westin push bar model 36-1475. Not only do they not sell directly.....it's been discontinued and the woman's exact words were obsolete. So getting new brackets is out, and I found out the hard way once I can't make the brackets close enough to fit (some kind of pattern may have helped but o well). So unless someone knows a source for these stupid things I guess I'm shit outta luck. Thanks anyway guys.
