So I just swapped the engine with a new one and I'm not getting any fuel, pulled off the line going into the fuel filter (from the tank) and it's dry, fuel pump was working before engine swap.
Yes it had gas, we dropped the fuel tank and took out the pump, connected some +/- wires to a battery and the pump did nothing, is there a better way to test it? I just priced a new fuel pump and
22re, the clip on the fuel pump had two wires, one for power and the other was a ground, so we essentially straight wired it to a car battery and got nothing.
Yes there was power to the connector when we tried to "start" the engine. Could it be just coincidence it went out same time as the motor? Is there a better way to test it before I go out and drop some change on a new one?
You have done all the test that is available; you have checked for power at the connector, and you have tested the pump. Did you make the connection at the pump itself or the adapter plate when you test the pump?
It sure seems like it is a coincident, unless other repairs were made that is related to the fuel pump.
