Fuel injector caps

Long time member and reader of the forum, but first time posting. First off let me say thanks to everyone that has contributed info to this forum because I have learned a ton of info. The question I have is about the pintle caps on the end of the injector where it goes into the intake manifold, are they needed? When pulled my injectors, they cracked and then came the rest of the way off on 2 of them. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, I would replace them. They don't cost much either.

Where do they sell them? Does the dealership have them?

Yep. What year/engine/model do you have? I can look up the part # and get an MSRP for you, so you know what to expect.

It is stamped RN101 on the frame and the VIN# has RN01. That is if I am reading it right.

Every dealer is little different with pricing, but it does give you a ballpark figure. My local dealer has been regularly below the prices.
