So, I've been trying to logically think of what would be the best thing to upgrade in my steering system to better secure it. I can't manage to pinpoint the weak link that will blow out first. Anyone have any opinions?

Also, I already know about the idler arm and am thinking about getting the Total Chaos mega f***in arm or just getting the NWOR idler arm truss. Is there any other needed upgrades? I just don't want to be haulin' ass through the snow and all of a sudden find a huge log/stump/rock/mound that's hidden which yanks the tire over so hard it grenades the _______.
EDIT: Eh, thought about it, I figure the NWOR truss is gonna be sturdy enough to prevent eradication. At least at the $300 cheaper price, yeah?

Oh, I couldn't possibly ask you for that. It's too much! Besides, I still have some Elmer's Glue left over from when I had to seal my head to my block.

4 balljoints, inner and outer TRE's (No adjuster sleeves tho), new idler and new pitman arm.
I can't wait to install it, my front end is so loose and clunks like a MOFO!
I ordered it off of e-bay. I figured $150 wass cheap enough to try it out, if the parts are crap then oh well. $150 would buy me an idler arm here... thats it!

I put some ebay special suspension parts on my truck.
I have had them for about a year and the majority of the rubber boots around the ball joints/tie rods etc have started disintegrating... The truck has never been off road or on salted road.... Its a dedicated street truck, the factory suspension lasted a good 15 years in comparison.
Yeah, that's Toyota parts for ya! I think I have made a decision in regards to my suspension dilemma. My truck mainly rides on snow and in mud and on trails and on the off chance has a few jumps. So I mainly need lots of wheel travel with enough strength to handle a jump or two every now and then. I know if I'm wanting to jump a rig, I need IFS. A TC IFS could trump any solid axle out there for prerunnin'. Unfortunately, I really would not want a 6" overall increase in width, also because it's extremely expensive (LT kit + fenders + t100 axles + =spacers for the rear + lift for the rear + etc. = ). Does anyone have any ideas/experiences of solid axles being strengthened enough to where they can handle decent jumps?
All opinions are more than welcome.

I figure it'l hold it together till I got a better job..
My last set of tie rods lasted 1.5years (moog) and my idler arm lasted a few months..
