Ignition switch replacement 92 pickup

Hi There are a bunch of little threads about ignition switch replacement but most are a little vague Im wondering if anyone can give me a good procedure for ignition switch and key cylinder replacement. this is a 92 x cab 4x4 4 cylinder 5 speed pickup

ok i can find the manual on ******* but i cant find the part about Ignition switch replace only testing of switch

IT should be pretty straight forward, remove the surround. Unclip the wiring from the cylinder. Then snap the breakaway bolts that hold the cylinder in and remove it.

1991 Pickup - 3vze - 4x4 - SR5 - 5sp- 270k.
Currently in street DD mode

I have a 92, All I did was put the key in "ACC", and pushed the button on the bottom of the cylinder, and it popped right out. The new one slides in the same way.
