Clutch and Brake Master Cylinder Leaks

The rubber/plastic "lids" on my brake and clutch MCs seem to be venting. They're both damp with fluid. Anyone else have this problem? I assume they're supposed to be bone dry on top?

You assume correctly.
Fluid isn't leaking is it?

Is your fluid level too high? Above the full line?

have you filled them recently? have you had brake or clutch work done on the truck?

remember when you do so not to go over the full mark. it needs some expansion room as the fluid moves back and forth. If you fill it all the way up, it will frequently spill over.

I had the rear brake cylinders replaced recently. And yes, the fluid I's slightly above the full mark. I'll remove some fluid and see what happens. The clutch reservoir is below the max line. I'll take some out if that one too. Thanks for the responses.

Fluid levels are now just below the max line. I'll see how that goes once I get my CEL Code 24 issue worked out.
