Question body lift for 89 pickup w/automatic trans

I recently bought an 89' Toyota pickup 4x4 that has an automatic trans. I've been looking to put a 2" or 3" body lift on it, but all the ones I've seen exclude automatic trans. Anyone have ideas on where to find one?

Just because I am curious and have always wondered about the "whys" of this, why do you want to even put a body lift on the truck? I mean why a body lift instead of a suspension lift? I know that they can be useful with some engine swaps to like v-8s to give better clearance for headers, but I can't assume that is why you are doing it just based on your info. Anyhow, just curious

Actually, the reason why I am looking for a body lift instead of the suspension lift is because I don't exactly have the money. I just graduated from high school so I'm not loaded for cash and my parents wont help. The second reason is that I just bought the truck and the previous owner had just put 33X12.50 tires on and when I turn sharply, it sometimes rubs against the truck. So I just want a body lift to keep the tires from rubbing. I eventually plan on a suspension lift, but until I have the money, the body lift will have to do. I am free to any suggestions.

If its an 89 toy than with those size tires
it already has a 3 or 4 inch lift so try trimming the fenders or possibly fender flares. But a body lift will work on your truck buy one for that year/make then you will need to extend your shifter which is why it isn't sold for automatics. But I would try other options first.

Thanks Air Runner for you input. Actually, I'm pretty sure this truck does not have a lift on it. The tires are pretty close and I can not see any type of lift on it. I might be wrong though.
