91 pickup V6 4X4 - Headgasket??
I have a 91 Toyota Pickup with a rough idling problem. We just bought the truck and it was running rough. There is no sign of water in the oil nor oil in the water, and the motor is not overheating. After the engine warms up, it smooths out to where it will idle on it's own.
Could we still have a bad headgasket? We were told it could also be a bad high-low idler. In addition, we were told that the timing belt was recently replaced, which could have been put in incorrectly, though the timing light said it was ok.
We ran a compression check and found the center cylinders without compression, but we had all spark plugs out when we did the check.
