I'm looking to get an OEM headunit from a 4Runner, Tacoma, or possibly a car (Camry, Corolla, or whatever will work) for my 1990 Toyota pickup. Does anybody know what will fit in my truck? Some people selling these OEM headunits on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3ARTQ%3AUS%3A1) claim that most units will fit in almost any other car/truck. Thanks in advance for any advice/tips.

I am waiting for my crutchfield box to arrive.. You can have the factory toyota tape-deck from my 92 pickup SR5.. for a fair price
What unit are you installing from Crutchfield? In the process of buying a 1992 SR5 4wd Xcab, that needs a new system, is this a difficult vehicle to fit?
check out the crutchfield catalog, or check out a car stereo dealer. most stereo companies offer the double DIN style stereos that fit right in there so that you can get away from those stock decks.

I have the Stock TAPE PLAYER out of my 93 pickup......It is OEM toyota
Ive always wanted to find some way to get just the face of an oem unit and have it clip on over my aftermarket unit if i ever park it somewhere out in the city over night.
who would want to steal a stock pickup unit????
Exactly what Jones just said, who would want to steal a stock tape deck. I have a nice Alpine cd player but it's at my ex's house and don't feel like taking a trip over there
