more problems

so i finaly got all of the parts back on my truck, but when i go to take it out for a test drive my power stearing is not working, (guess that explains the clicking coming from the area around the pump ) so my question is how much damage can i do by driving around with a dead power stearing pump, i dont mind the lack of power stearing but i just got it running and i dont want to do any more damage

if the pump is empty it could seize up you should at least take the belt off before you run the engine. id try to fix it its not that difficult. you wont hurt anything if the belt is off except for your arms from fighting the steering wheel.
