Question 1987 Pickup and Bass

I have just recently bought a 1987 Toyota pickup with just a regular small cab and a long bed. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way for a guy like me to put a little bit of bass into a truck like that. You could either respond here or e-mail me.

you mean where to fit a sub?

I had 1 in my 95 single cab. 12 inch too! was able to make false wall behind passengers seat but the seat would not go back all the way.

Put a Bazooka Tube behind the seat. Make sure to get one with a built-in amp.

Bazooka tube Nothing compares to two 12's. Try going to your local audio shop and talk to them about a custom fitted/made box for your truck, or mabey they will have a slim truck box that will fit right back there. I had a 94 B2300 with 12 punch He2's The truck hit so hard the back glass shattered.

Well......if you compare a single 8" sub to 2 12's then sure!

i have a 79' regular cab. i fit two twelves in it somewhat comfortably behind the back seat in a custom box. i did however have to cut out the little hump on the back of the cab between the two seats. i just rivited a piece of aluminum in its place with some silicone. i mounted the amp between the seats. it sound pretty good. talk to a car audio shop. they should be able to help you. whatever you do dont get the pioneer shallow mount subs. they sound horible on deep bass notes. not to bad for rock though.
