I have a 1987 toyota pickup with the 22RE engine at 148,000. Whenever you press the gas pedal in a certain place, the car will hesitate, bogdown and cut off. Does anyone out there have a solution for me. Thanks.

New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, clean injectors (if EFI).....that's where I'd start.
