22r from 83 celica into 88 pickup

can anyone tell me what to switch out on the two blocks in order for this thing to fall through? any comments appreciated

Not exactly sure but I can tell you the 2 motors cannot interchange heads. The 83 celica has the older castings and the 88 has the newer "laser block" castings.

The 83 should just drop right in provided it carb to carb or EFI to EFI. Might have to change a wiring harness if the 88 in EFI and the 83 is a carb. Might have to use the motor mounts off the 88 black on the celica block.
