Highlander Foglights

Hey, I want to put foglights in my 2004 Highlander, but I don't wanna buy expensive Toyota parts.
I've already got some Autozone lights that I will mount, but I want to use the wiring that's already there.

I guess I'll need a different Toyota switch that goes on the steering console and also the relay for the fogs.

I'm wondering about the switch. Do I have to get one for the Highlander or will it fit if I get it off a 4Runner at a junkyard or some other older Toyota that had fogs?

Can you also tell me about the relay, where to get it, and where it goes?

Thanks.

The Highlander is essentially a car, while Toyota 4Runner is basically a truck, so I doubt it if it would fit, chances are you'll have to buy a new one for your Highlander. www.headlightswholesale.com has low priced fog lights if you wanna save some bucks.. good luck

I found a few aftermarket foglight kits, specifically made for the highlander on ebay motors. They were about $60 + shipping.

Yea I guess I was just wondering cause the switches look the same, but I guess I'll just have to get one and see if it fits!

Actually I install the fog lights on my wife's hihlander. I found that the Tacoma fog light switch fits perfectly in the stock dash along side the alarm LED. It is even lighted.
