2005 Highlander Price Question

Folks,

I'm looking to replace my wife's 2000 Jeep Grand Cheroke with an 05 Highland Limited AWD. Curious what would be considered a fair price for this car in New Jersey. I'm outside of Philadelphia.

Also, any suggestions on dealers in the area?

Many thanks in advance!

There's about $3500 between sticker and invoice, so you ought to be able to at least split that difference 50/50 right off the bat. Maybe you can do better depending on how many are sitting around in stock (or, worse if they're selling well). It isn't so much a matter of where in the country you're located; it's a factor of how well the inventory is turning over in your area.

There's also a choice of $800 cash rebate or discounted financing through 8/31.

Go to Edmunds (http://www.edmunds.com) for more pricing and details.

On the trade, get trade-in estimates from both Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book (http://www.kbb.com). I've found that Edmunds is usually too high and KBB is low, and an average of the two is very close to a real value of what your trade is worth.
