Hey does anybody know the gens for the Rav in the North American market?

I want to say 2 but not sure. Also what years

Just have 2 generation and each generation have been facelifted once.

There is generation 2, which is the current RAV-4, and its been running from 2001-present. Then ther was generation 1 (the older bodystyle) and it ran from 1996-2000. Toyota also tweaked each model every year (cupholder placement, guages, little stuff like that)
