USA 2001 Toyota Rav4 Please Help

Hi Guys,
I Just Bought A 2001 Toyota Rav4 With 65000 Miles On It ,running Very Good, but When I Search In The Internet,i Found That Model Has Some Issues With Ecm And Transmision.
I Went To The Dealer, He Reprogramed The Ecm And Performed Ssc#60i With New Calibration.
The Car Seems Running Butter And More Smooth.
Can You Tell Me If I Will Have Any Problem In The Next Few Miles, I Mean This Update Will Avoid Problems In The Future ?
Did Any Of You Has The Same Problem ?
Thanks For Any Answer.

i have 01rav4 with 186,000km. the ecm was reprogrammed last 2 yrs. i noticed my transmission have problem(slipping, jerking) so i emmediately went to dealer they found out to replaced ecm that cost 850 canadian dollars including labor, then i said changed it,eventhought freaking expensive. Now my rav4 is ok, am still lucky coz didnt damaged my tranny. If you notice have problem on trans. make sure dont drive to far so that not making worst.

hi again,
i hope that your tranny is safe.
you know some people do not trust that update or new program for ecm, they buy a new computer before they have any problem with the transmission, and they can run more than 150 000 without problem.
toyota has made a big miss with this modele : 2001-2003 rav4.
i don't know if mine will run 180 000 km like yours or i will sale it for a honda cr-v ?
the problem is all toyota dealers do not know or do not want give good infirmation for customer.if you call toyota they alway say everthing will be fine. unless you have problems.
