Brake lights won't rurn off

I got regular maintenance done on my 2006 RAV4 today (oil change, air filters, etc.) and now my brake lights won't turn off. The maintentance facility has already closed, so I am wondering if there is a way i can turn off these lights so my battery won't die tonight.

I am taking the car back to the maintenance place tomorrow, but am looking for a quick fix. Does anyone have suggestions (other than disconnecting the battery)?

Thanks.

*Sorry if there is a related post, but I am new to this forum and didn't find any.

pull the brake light fuse, but that may disable other lights as well. maybe just unplug the lamps?

we pulled the brake switch under the steering column (i don't know if that is the fuse or not). Fixed the problem for now, but I will take in tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.
