Does anyone know if the Scion Tc TRD supercharger will fit the RAV4?

The 2004 RAV4 has the same 2.4l engine as the new Scion Tc. The Scion will have the option of a TRD Supercharger. Does anyone know if that S/C will fit the RAV4?

I'm hoping that TRD would offer the 2.4l S/C for a large variety of applications like the Rav4, Camry, Solaro, Tacoma, and the Scion tc. I could get a kit somewhere, but if TRD offers if specifically for the Rav4 I would have the benefit of the warranty.

Okay, I'm guessing that you own a 2004 RAV4...

The 2AZFE engine that is shared by both the RAV4 and soon to be Scion TC should fit, in theory. I don't see a reason why you couldn't just bolt-on, same engine afterall.

Detonation is not about burning parts. Detonation is the igntion firing at the wrong time. The parts doesn't burn more than it normally does but the cylinders are fighting itself and putting excess pressure on the head, crank, cam, rods, pistons, etc.

Will the supercharger fit? It's not about the supercharger fitting but about the intake manifold fitting. If they use the same intake manifold yes it will fit (assuming you have clearance) You will need to run your own rubber bands to the engine. Throw in an air/fuel ratio controller and an ignition system that works with the Rav4 that can retard timing along with some gauges to keep everything in check and you'll be fine.
