I want a Black Rav4 V6 SAP 4x4, what should pay for it?

After researching all the different options and then test driving a 2011 V6 Rav4, we want one. The options we decided we must have are a V6, 4x4, SAP (no rear mounted spare), and black paint.

We are in the market for this now, and I would like to know what is a fair price when we negotiate with a dealer. I have great credit, so financing will not be a problem. I wouldn't mind buying a 2009 or 2010 with low miles but it's been impossible to find exactly what I want in a used vehicle. If I wanted a 4cyl with a big funny looking spare hanging off the back, there are at least 300 of them for sale within 50 miles of my house in Pomona, CA.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Aaron

^You will not find a 2009 Rav4 with the SAP. They only became available late in the 2010 Model Year.

At our dealership, the Rav4 V6 4x4 with the SAP is just under 30k MSRP and around 28k for invoice. Just as an FYI. Some dealerships will go "net net", and give you every penny they've got just so you'll buy the car. Some dealerships, depending where you are, will tell you to take a hike. (lol) Most people end up between 28-30k. Offer them something inbetween.
