2004 Rav4 "maintenance required" light blinking

hi

I went to the dealership for the 5k maintenance yesterday, but the 'maint req' light still blinks for about 5 times everytime i start up the car. Called them today, but they said that it was normal. The woman on the other end wasn't very patient, and i'm really good with cars.

Does this work on turning off the blinking light?

Appreciate the help

to TN!
It only blinks 5 times when you start the car, and then it shuts off? Try resetting it again and see what happens. Either keep it on ODO or on Trip A, turn the key off, and push in the ODO knob while you turn the key back on (don't start the car). You'll see dashes flashing where the odometer usually reads, and then 6 zeros. Then it's reset.
