Power Steering Pressure switch
We havea 1998 toyota rav4 and it had a burnt valve,we had the head worked over and new valves put in it and we put the engine back together and put it back in the car yesterday.while putting it in the power steering pressure switch that is on the bottom of the power steering pump got broke,it has 2 vacume lines that goes into it. 1 goes into the throttle body and the other goes into the intake. We have one on order, but we went ahead and tried the start the vehicle,it won't start, its getting good ignition (fire) on the spark plugs, but it seems like its either getting too much gas or not enough.I was told the vehicle wouldn't run without the powersteering pressure switch. Can anyone expand on the power steering pressure switch please?
