RAV4 manaul trans. swap
Hey everyone, along with myself and a few others, we're looking to find out what would be the best swap for a 5-speed trans. on our RAV4's. It has the 3S-FE engine, but the trans. just sucks. Looking for a specific type of trans. so if any of you could shed some light on our thoughts....

I think in your case I would just buy a rav w/ a manual trans - its alot less hassle... and chances are be cheaper in the long run.

Maybe you misunderstood me. We have the 5-speed in it. Whatever one it has, the synchros suck. So we're looking for the best one to swap it with. I've heard suggestions from a MR-2. But which one? or from a celica all-trac? I'm kinda looking for specific info, if anyone can help
