RAV4 Questions...

Looks like I'm going to be buying a RAV4 and I had a couple of questions you guys might be able to help me with -

1. The engine is now a 2.4L. Is this the same basic engine that is in the Camry?

2. How does the AWD work? I know it is a full-time system. Does it distribute power equally - ie. 50% to front and back? Or does it change as wheels begin to slip (ie. 100% front wheel drive until wheel slip occurs, then transfers some power to the rear)?

Same engine as the Camry.

50/50 all the time. front and rear diffs are open.
