Supercharger problem

Hello everyone,
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can shed some light on this for me. I have a 97 Previa SC and I am having an issue with the supercharger. I had the supercharger filled with new oild last december. Last weekend I checked it, and it was completely gone. So I went to the dealer and had them fill it again as I stood there and watched the entire time. I checked it again this weekend, and it was completely gone again. I talked with a guy on the phone that said it was the inner gasket causing it to leak.

Does anyone have any experience with a problem like this and a possible solution? How hard is it to replace that part if it actually is the "inner gasket"? Any other info you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you!

I started to have this problem with my '95 before I traded it for my '96. Sounds sort of strange, however the '96 had 40k less miles and is a fully loaded LE All-Trac. I love it.

Back to the Post. Based on the postings on the Yahoo board, it appears that people are having this problem with the SC. I checked the oil level on my '95 every time I changed the engine oil. This is a little harder now with the All-Trac. I had to put some oil in the SC after buying the '96 and I need to check the level again to see if it has dropped. I ahve not heard of anyone pulling the SC to replace the seals.

Hope this helps.
