Temperature selector

The temperature slider will move all the way to cold, but when I push it all the way to hot, it will push back about 3/4" I don't know if there is something in there blocking it or if I bent something or something else.

you will need to trace the other end and lubricate.

If you open the hood, on the left side there is a little heater control valve. Have someone move the slider back and forth and you will see it. Make sure that it is free to move.

As Drunken Panda says check under hood on left side. Have someone move the lever inside. A clip holds the cable in place. Adjust it so when the interior lever is all the way on hot, the lever under the hood is at it's maximum movement.
