Previa Accessory Shaft Repair

I am getting a sqealing at idle when the A/C is running. I'm sure it isn't the belt. I've heard this is the accessory shaft bearings, which are available in kits on eBay....

1. Does this sound like the right diagnosis?

2. Has anyone used.installed said kit?

You may have better response if you visit this Previa group .
You may need to register but I think it is one of the most active Previa only forum.

SADS revolver bushing failure is more of a clacking/rattling noise than a squeal. Review some of the latest posts in the Minivan forum as well as the forum suggested by PreviaLESCAWD.

Since my original post, I've become quite the Bean mechanic! Did the SADS kit myself as well as the blower motor, interior blower switch, front struts and tons of other little stuff....

Got mine on eBay...extremely pleased!! A note of caution...purchase the black rubberized kits only! The aluminum kits have had issues with imporper fitment and early wear. Don't find out the hard way - just take it from me. I've had that rubberized kit on for 25k now and it's perfect!

No, that's aluminum.

Try:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33738

There's 11 mins left in this particular auction but they have auctions for these all the time.

THanks for clearing that up for me, the other link I seen on EBAY was aluminum also.

I will call this place that has them.....that auction is over. Missed it.
