Previa Problems

I have a 95 Previa DX and I have experienced a few problems of late. The first is that the radio will no longer recieve FM channels. The AM and tape deck work, but not the FM. The second is that the heater will only occasionally blow. I have tested the relays and the speed selector switch and all work. I do not know what else could be wrong.

Possibly your antenna isn't extended.. and your reception isn't picking up?

Check the vents, that's all i can think of. :\

Hope this helps.

Your heater fan has a resitor block on it that might be bad.

Here is a previa forum that is of great help.

HI
I had the same problem. Guaranteed its the brushes in the blower motor. Most times you can take them out and replace or sometimes just clean them.

I also have a 95 Previa and experienced the same problem with my radio. I figured it was time to replace it and put in one with a CD player. It took about 2 hours to install.
If you decide to put a new radio in be careful when remoing the cigarette lighter mouting bracket. The plastic is easy to break. You may want to get a wiring diagram to help with matching up the new radio wires or I believe you can buy a universal connector. Good luck.
