EGR PROBLEMS A little Help!!

What's Up Family!!!!

About 6 months ago I got a 071 code ( EGR circulation problems) 7 posibles problems.

**New Plugs,wires, cap, and Rotor.

Only getting 15-16 MPG City driving. Just started running a little ruff a week ago.

1.) Removed EGR valve -Cleaned it. ( Not much carbon at all) Checked it while eng. was running. Eng. tried to kill: - working properly.

2.) Checked metering valve; - cleaned the cloth filter. I got no blockages.

3.) Cleaned the throttle valve. Not clogged.

4.) Cked. vacuum lines: Not plugged and in decent condition.

** 5.) EGR Temp. sensor?? How do I ck. it? a new on cost about $175. don't want to buy it unless it's bad.

I saw a used one on e-bay for a 95 4 Runner (4 cylinder) for about $40 bucks. Would it fit on the 95 Previs?

Any input on this would be helpful

Thanks in advance
