92 Previa Radio wiring

Can anyone tell me what wire does what ont eh stock harness? Pics would be great too.

Im buying my dad's previa and the idiot that installed the aftermarket radio hacked up the wiring harness. The stock plugs are still there hanging by one wire. I am thinking of cutting away the aftermarket stuff (since the plug they used doesnt used standardized wire colors) and start matching up the original wires. But i need to knwo what they do. Thanks.

Oh where is a place I can get the stock cup holder replaced? The idiots taht installed the radio also broke the cup holders so they dont lock in place.

Does the panel on top of the heater/radio controls just lift up? It's actually part of the dashboard. I'm fearful of breaking the piece if I just lift it up?

Thanks

Your image doesn't exist anymore.
installdr can't help with a 92 previa

I myself have a 91 and here's my problem:

i want to install a new deck. my friend said he could do it, but he is an idiot. he CUT the harness off from the car. Luckily he did it in such a way that there is a little bit of every cable sticking out of my now useless harness.

The color codes on this website do not help me. I have a 14 pin harness, and two red cables, not to mention 2 brown ones. how can i find out what wire goes where ????

please help me.

Is your harness a single plug, or 2 separate ones?

The single plug goes to the optional amplifier under the glove box.

You will also have another harness in the dash somewhere with 2 separate plugs that bypasses said amplifier. That one is standard across all Toyota's since the late 80's.

The picture on installdr applies to the bypass harness, which is the only one you can use.
