Angry previa dash removal??? ANYONE!!!

how do i remove the dash to get to the radio so i can intall an aftermarket one...please helppp ahhhh...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! need it badly

You don't have to remove the whole dash, just the console around the radio. Remove the ash tray and fuse panel cover. Look for screws that hold the console to the dash. The tricky part is getting the lighter out without breaking the plastic clip. Make sure to unplug the lighter wire harness. Also look for a couple of screws in the drop down tray below the ash tray. Once you get all the screws out, you should be able to slide the console out. The radio is connected to a mounting bracket with screws. You may have to modify the mounting bracket to fit the new radio. You may also mave to modify the new radio cover plate to fit the curved consloe. A drumel tool works great. Take your time. If you have a digital camera it wouldn't hurt to sanp some pics as you go along. Good Luck.

Two tricky screws

There are two tricky screws that are behind the astray and cupholder. If you got all the screws in sight, and it's still stuck, you gotta look from underneath. The screw driver is almost vertical when you take out these last two...that might be the hiccup, I know it was when I did it the first time...
