i was looking through some old National Geographics my teacher had, and i think it was a '94 issue...

but anyway, there was an advertisement for a supercharged Previa, it looked like the typical Previa ad talking about how it has V8 power, but V6 fuel economy, and how it has luxury, blah blah blah...

and i was wondering, anybody know what engine it is? if so, you guys could consider an engine swap...

I know the supercharger can fit on a van...but which one?! Curse my bad memory for not working at the moment

you're thinking of the Sienna...

but this ad was made before TRD released the Supercharger for the 1vz-fe (is this the engine code i'm looking for?)...

Ah...that's probably it. 1MZ-FE, the v6 camry engine that can be supercharged. Anyone knowledgable, please see Camry forum and answer my damn question. Thanks

There WAS a Supercharged Previa before, I believe it was the same engine as the first generation Supercharged MR2. But now, there is the TRD S/C for the Sienna.

hehe.. we almost bought one of those, but the N/A model.. after I trashed my dads 84 toyota LE van... :cry: that was the coolest Toyota we ever had... engine under the front seats, dual sunroofs.. hehe.. I used to take it down yonge street and drive up and down on the weekends with my friends sticking out of the sunroof and my stereo blasting (had 2 12inch Kenwood subs at the back run by an Alpine amp and a Sony Tape deck with a sanyo portable cd player hooked up to it.... this is like 7 years ago, so I cant remember the models) aww man.. the good times in that van.

and yes, I remember when the S/C models came out.. hehe.. for some reason I wanted another Toyota van with dual sunroofs back then.

My family still owns a Previa..1993 LE..not SC....i wish it was supercharged though...it has over 170,000 miles on it and it still runs like the day we bought it..great van...i guess thats what you get from a Toyota

my parents have a previa and thay want me to hook up with a kit i might just handlay my own, sound system, and motor work. a sc previa would br bad ass.
