Help wanted - Previa 4WD 161hp 250000 km - Your advices

Hi all:

I am newcomer from Moscow and I live in Vancouver.

So I would ask of the experienced members of this forum to give me useful advices about my first car purchase .

I want to buy the used Previa 4WD 1994-1996 for travel to mountain and ocean with trailer with sailing ship so I am afraid that the 2.4 l engine of Previa is not enough powerful for these purposes.

What are the main problems with performance of these cars after 250Kkm?

How is more repair cost of the unusual Previa engine (engine under the front seats) in comparisom with Sienna and domestic minivans?

What is fuel consumption after 250 km Previa 4WD (161hp) , how strong engine noice in the salon and eletrical glitches, and what usal condition pf the trasmission after 250000 km and

What do I need to pay attention on the Previa after 250000 km?

Has Previa iridium spark plugs (161CD)?



What are main disadvantage of Previa against Sienna?

Could I buy the Sienna for 8000$ (1998)?

Sorry for a lot of questions but I have a limit money and I am afraid to loss their.

If you are worried about performmance, get the Super Charger version. The only other thing to be worried about is checking the Super Charger Oil.

i have a 92 with 297K
a few relatives with the following: 92 - 410K, 92 - 375K, 91 - 358K.
and they are all still being driven daily.
