I have seen quite A few technical threads posted, but the more technical type of questions donot get A response which leads me to believe that there are not to many toyota techs that visit this site, or they just dont bother to respond to any of the more complicated type of questions, my question is are there any real toyota techs on this website

I just purchased an 07 Sequoia Limited - and am trying to figure it out.

re: the Navigation System and DVD Entertainment System

1. Is there a way to get around the security on the navigation system so that a passenger in the front seat can put in address destination into the system - while the car is in motion?

2. Is there a way to see the DVD movie through the Navigation screen in the front seat while the vehicle is in motion?

3. Also - is there a place to plug in my IPod into the radio system?

Any help is sincerely appreciated

Hi there,

What you are asking for has been done on another Toyota-built vehicle; namely Lexus. The dudes on the Lexus forum have done a brilliant job of the "DVD" bypass issue, and being that Sequoia is also a Toyota based vehicle there is SOME probability that you may get lucky. Please see this site on how it was done on the 2006 Lexi :
